Positive health and safety culture of organization: The Recycling and reuse Centre has positive health and safety culture due to manager is committed to organizations health and safety policy. Director of the organization also support young manager and checks on the centre performance. Workers consultation is carried out regularly about the matter of health and safety and they thinks and feels that health and safety is important. b. Commitment and leadership from management: In the reuse Centre the commitment and leadership from the management can be seen in organization .The manager regularly visit the workplace and carried out unexpected inspections .The director of the recycling and reuse centre also provide support to the young manager and check their performance. c. Training: The workers are receiving proper induction training as well as health and safety and work related training. d. Consultation and worker involvement: In the recycling and reuse centre the manager often visit the workplace and consult with workers about health and safety issues. Workers are also involved to develop safe system of work. Many risk assessments are developed by the worker’s involvement and labeled within a large binder. e. Communication: Effective communication is identified in the organization such as Safety policy, safety management certificates and manager’s NEBOSH National Diploma are mounted on the noticeboard. f. Improvements: The manager of recycling and reuse centre always ready to receive advice from experience worker to improve the effectiveness of health and safety of the organization. g. PPE: In the recycling and reuse centre the management provides proper PPE to the worker and the manager make sure that every worker wear personal protective equipment (PPE) during the work. h. Providing health and safety information to the workers: The manager of recycling and reuse centre holds a daily health and safety briefing to all workers before start the work. i. Safety signs: In the recycling and reuse centre the management make sure that all safety signs are readable .They also branded the waste skips with what should be put into them. j. That means there is poor reporting in the organization. b. Policy review: The policy of health and safety of the recycling and reuse centre has not been reviewed by the 2015 and this is very big sign of negative health and safety culture. d. Enforcement order: The recycling and reuse centre received enforcement order in the past due to lack of implications of health and safety. e. Proper training: When recycling and reuse centre received brand new skip-moving vehicles .the management should give the workers proper training to operate the vehicles .But in this case management fail to provide proper training to the workers.
