This course will enhance the understanding of Human Resource Development activity in an
organisation. It will not only highlight the importance of learning, training and development
in an organisation for organizational change and development but also individual career
planning and development.

strategies and styles, Instructional and cognitive psychology.

Assessing HRD needs, planning and budgeting HRD programs, designing effective HRD
programs, Implementing HRD programs, Evaluating HRD programs.

HR Planning and Performance Management
HR Planning – HR inventory, right sizing, outsourcing, recruitment strategies, job postings
and induction programs. Coaching and performance management, balance score card
model, performance management process, data management, identifying star performer
– 9 Box Grid.
Cases- Siemens Case, BPO Attrition Rate Case, Pharmaceutical Manpower Forecasting Case.
