Day and Night
There are 24 hours in a day.
midnight
The day is divided into "day(time)" and "night(time)".
Daytime is from sunrise 6am to sunset 6pm. Night-time is from sunset to sunrise.
Every day starts at midnight.
AM = before noon
PM = after noon
The earth rotates (turns around) on its own axis. That is why we have daily cycles of day and night. At any
moment in time, one half of the earth is in sunlight, while the other half is in darkness.
