October 6, 2020 Working From Home, Communication Function , Flexibility Time , and Their Effects on Employee PerfomanceDuring Social Distancing Policy In covid19 Pandemic at PERUMDA (Perusahaan Umum Daerah) Tirta Sewakadarma Ni Putu Tannya Aprilia / 117111593 CHAPTER I Covid-19 now has become a global pandemic, an experts and epidemiologists agree that social distancing or quarantine policy is one of the policy to reduce the spread of this deadly virus Indonesian government issued a Policy in the Circular of the Minister of PANRB No.19 of 2020 on The Adjustment of the Work System of the State Civil Apparatus in The Prevention of Covid-19 in the Government Agency Environment, One of the big implications of the applation of some of these rules is that every government and non-governmental institution at both the central and regional levels needs to adjust all forms of activity, and the work system taking into account the principle of physical distancing (Aulia, 2020) However, in its implementation not all sectors of work can be done at home. In a company, employees performance is one of the important factors to increase the productivity of the company. To support and improve employee performance, effective communication is required, so that employee performance can run optimally. The second factor that can affect employee performance is flexible working hours. Working flexibly lately is in demand both by employees and companies as one of the mechanisms of how to work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Why Perumda Sewakadarma? PERUMDA Tirta Sewakadarma implemented work from home during pandemi. Based on attendance data of Perumda Tirta Sewakadarma employees. Employees who do not work or without information in January-February (before pandemic) lower than March-May (during pandemic). Perumda Tirta Sewakadarma Denpasar gives employees confidence to work in the office or at home, the employee's performance has not been optimal. This can be seen with the data of some photos of customer complaints that received slow responses from employees.
