1. TITLE OF THE PROJECT:
“SDC (Social Distancing Controller)”
1.1. INTRODUCTION:
The main idea of this project is to provide a user friendly interface to automate the process and help the people to book
items like groceries, stationaries, fancy items etc from the nearby local retail shops through online without
contacting with people and safe shopping. In this pandemic very risky to stand in a line in front of shops
maintaining social distancing for long time, contacting with people unknowingly, so this method helps in
safe purchasing of products we need. We can order or book things in online, once the order is placed the
shop keeper receives a notification of our order and he packs the products which we order and sends back
the notification once the packing is done. And then if the shop provides delivery option if we want we can
do it or we can manually go there and collect our products. We can do the payments online or we can also
do it at the time of the purchase. The administrator of the application will be able to maintain the records of the user,
shops and reports of the sales making the manual work easier.
1.2 OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of this web application is to avoid crowding of people in the shops in this pandemic, I t is very risky to
stand in a line in front of shops maintaining social distancing for long time, contacting with people
unknowingly, so this application will helps in safe purchasing of products from your nearest local retail
shops. All the products will be categorized based on the shops.
You can find all the small shops near your locality, The shops from where you usually buy the items.
Delivery of products is optional it is provide depending on the shops

The present system is being developed as a web application. Although the application can be accessed by portable
devices like cell phones through browsers. In future, we would like to develop as an android application.
It reduces the time and human errors.
