The 4 ingredients we used in this home-made cream are:
Rosemary, chamomile, organic shea butter, extra virgin olive oil and natural bees-wax.
While the rosemary provides an antibacterial surface for the skin and has antiseptic properties that are beneficial to
skin conditions such as eczema.
The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in shea butter helps moisturize and nourish the skin. It’s high
fat content makes it an excellent natural emollient and humectant, locking in moisture and keeping skin hydrated
and smooth.
Chamomile contains powerful anti-oxidants including polyphenols and phytochemicals. When applied to the skin, it
has been said that chamomile accelerates cell and tissue renewal.
Extra virgin olive oil we used is rich in Vitamin E. Each tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil has about 1.9 mg of
Vitamin E, a fat-soluble anti-oxidant that can protect the body against skin problems plus it is anti inflammatory.
We only used fresh rosemary, blended together with chamomile mixed with the organic shea butter and the extravirgin olive oil, afterwards the whole mixture was left to infuse for 3 months at low temperature.
The result was than drained and mixed with the low temperature ( bain-marie melted ) natural bees-wax.
Please enjoy!
