It is located directly across the street from City Hall, in the heart of Winnipeg’s Theatre District. The hall is also the permanent residence of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Manitoba Opera and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. LOBBY: Large spacious lobbies on three (3) levels. (see photo at right) Although the Sound Booth has direct ‘line of sight’ to the center cluster loudspeaker system, it does not provide an ideal mix position representing the majority of audience members (on the main floor). We recommend that professional touring productions consider using our ‘mix position’ at the rear of the main floor. (see below) TOURING (HOUSE MIX) POSITIONS Our House Mix position is located at the rear of the Auditorium on the Main Floor This position is typically used for sound & lighting consoles for professional touring shows.
