I am interested to apply for the job in ICAP for the position of reginal HIV case surveillance officer
for amhara region. I am qualified with Master of Public Health (MPH) from Bahir Dar university
and Masters of degree in surgical nursing from Gondar university and with background of BSc
nursing and contributed for 17 years in the health system mainly on health service quality
improvement in government and International NGO with progressively increasing roles and
responsibilities. Health service quality improvement Adviser seconded to Amara regional Health
Bureau with the support of CIRT project which was mainly working on capacitate the hospitals to
utilized the data for decision making supported by clinical Audit and quality improvement projects
and enable the hospital to provide evidence based decision-making. And also Provided technical
support, in the position of quality assurance hub officer in the implementation of Engenderhealth
Family planning by choice project with collaboration of Regional health bureau and Zonal health
department. Lead the provision of high-quality technical assistance to enhance the capacity of
hospitals and health center on FP and safe abortion care service delivery by providing training,
clinical audit mentorship, and supportive supervisions. I had also provided
HIV-AIDS care and
treatment in different public hospital including felege hiwot comprehensive hospital and motta
hospital

In collaboration with other FPbC team, ensure the implementation of regular mentoring and
supportive supervision for Quality Assurance Hubs;



Facilitate, organize and provide Clinical Audit, quality improvement, FP and CAC training
Providing technical support for the hospitals in clinical audit and quality improvement
process
Coordinate regional project performance review meetings and present performance of
region-based project performance plan

Advocate for the overall COE model and ensure ownership by teaching hospitals and
government partners for sustained investment including resource mobilization and business
development plan; advocate with other key stakeholders and implementing partners at
regional levels;

Team up with the FPbc task leads and regional FPbc team to represent FPbC program at
regional level for FP and safe abortion care related discussions at technical working group
meetings and other forums; provide technical assistance as requested by government
partners at regional level;

Identify, document and disseminate evidence-based best practices in relation to center of
excellences; facilitate and support conduct of operational research and clinical audits.

Prepare periodic reports of programme results and disseminates results including by project
reports, publications, summaries and special reports.

As part of the regional FPbc team, support RHB to strengthen implementation of family
planning, comprehensive abortion care programs including integration of FP and CAC in to
existing strategies and interventions;
