 Explain
the importance of medical documentation as
it is related to clinical information management,
medical billing and coding, and patients’ culture,
age, gender and disabilities
 Describe
a variety of health career opportunities, the
pathway to a career as a health care provider, and
how to become more aware of current health topics

Clinical information

Everyone is expected to wear Maroon scrubs and wear their GW ID at
all times

Emily Ross, RN schedules all clinical shifts

Clinical shifts cannot be re-scheduled or swapped.

You will report to the Charge RN on arrival to the Emergency
Department

You must complete 8 clinical shifts.


Shifts are 4 hours
You are expected to log all your observation and
obtain signatures from preceptors
