Most buildings collapse in the marine environment is due to corrosion of steel
in the concrete due to the high humidity level around the location. Though the
metal rods are under concrete cover, the chlorides are more powerful to
penetrate through concrete blocks, attack the metal rods, and cause
corrosion. For preventing this problem, there are many concrete corrosion
chemicals available in the market.
The rusting process is a chemical reaction that
reacts with atmospheric oxygen and water
molecules. In this reaction, the iron rod with water
and oxygen will turn into reddish dust-like particles
called rust or iron oxide. This same process will

chemical will be in light brown also in the liquid
form. This chemical component will have a PH
value of about 9.5, which is the minimum
scale, and there are many chemicals with
more than this ph value. The specific gravity of
this liquid will be 1.04 at 27degree celsius.
