After reading the novel One Fat Summer and viewing the film, you will now create your
own book cover for the novel.
To be included on the book cover will be the following:
Front Cover:
An alternate title for the novel that accurately depicts the events of the story
Author’s name
One scene from the novel depicted using at least three pictures for symbolism
Added creativity using digital or artistic effects
Back Cover:
A summary of the novel describing the setting, plot, and characters in twelve sentences
A book review that takes the form of a properly structured opinion paragraph and in
response to the following question: What did you like or dislike about how the novel was
written, the characters portrayed, or the overall theme presented?
Names of five characters from the novel with one character trait listed underneath the
name in sentence form and a picture of an actor to depict them
