Dietary fiber — found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes
— is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve
constipation. ... Dietary fiber, also known as roughage or bulk, includes the
parts of plant foods your body can't digest.
A diet is all that we consume in a day. And a
balanced diet is a diet that contains an adequate
quantity of the nutrients that we require in a
day. A balanced diet includes six main nutrients,
i.e. Fats, Protein, Carbohydrates, Fibre, Vitamins,
and Minerals.
A person’s age or occupation will determine what the best diet is for them.
Malnutrition: Obesity, Anorexia, Bulimia, kwashiorkor and marasmus.
