Core French Curriculum Refective Questions
Choose one or more of the Core French curriculum guides (Grade 5-7).
Reflect on the following questions and be prepared to discuss:
1)What are your initial thoughts regarding the big ideas?
Seems fairly straight forward and related to the curriculum
2) Are there curricular competencies that you find you are more comfortable
modelling to students? Less comfortable? Which ones?
Pronunciation and reading I struggle with, but I think I need to brush up on my French
and I will be ok.
3)Is there any content that you are unfamiliar with? If so, which?
French and francophone communities
4)In regards to this document, what generalizations can you make about yourself as
a language learner? Language teacher?
I think its very general. I think I need to brush up on a lot of my French and learn
what im talking about before I teach students.
