Write a narration of a decision you made in the past which you
consider a wrong one. What could have happened if the course of
action was different?

I made a decision before and this is when I tried to enter into a relationship
because I just wanted to try it and experience having a girlfriend in my high
school life because I think I was the only one in our barkada who had never
experienced dating. I considered it a bad decision because I didn’t follow what
my parents said and instead I disobeyed them. It also affected my education not
only that, but I also lost time with my friends because of it. But in the end, it
turned out to be good for me because after that experience I learned a lot.
Oftentimes, our mistakes teach us valuable lessons that we only gained because
of the experience we gathered after messing up. Without mistakes, we lose
countless opportunities to gain valuable knowledge and learn lessons. If the
course of action changes, maybe I will never know and realize that what our
parents say and preach to us is also for our own good because they don’t want
us to fail because they just want us to have a good life and reach out our dreams
in life because that is the only happiness of a parent to see their child succeed in
life. And another thing I learned is that not everything is rushed because God
has set the right time for it so we should not be in a hurry and instead learn to
wait for the right time for us. Therefore, mistakes are the best lessons of our life
because we learn about ourselves through our mistakes.
