__ “ Oh, poor Yorick! I used to know him, Horatio—a very funny guy, and with an excellent
imagination. He carried me on his back a thousand times, and now—how terrible—this is him.
It makes my stomach turn. I don’t know how many times I kissed the lips that used to be right
here. Where are your jokes now? Your pranks? Your songs? ”(late lines 170)_.Yorick's skull
symbolizes the inevitable decay of the human body and the inevitability of death, which makes
Hamlet say yorick's jokes, pranks and songs disappear. This should correspond to Hamlet's father's
death after nothing is the same
Inferential Question (discussion-based/ reflective-based/ generate new idea/new understanding)
_____Why did Yorick die? Clowns have no pride in the palace?_________

___________“This man who killed my king, made my mother a whore, took the throne that I
hoped for, and set a trap to kill me. Isn’t it completely moral to kill him now with this sword—and
an easy conscience? ”(late lines167)_I feel Hamlet is right. The evil Cladius should be killed. He
has broken Hamlet's family, and this is his deserved revenge, which shows Hamlet's hatred for
Cladius.____________
