(c) (a) (b) ( c) Styles For Spring / Summer 2013 The Styles for SS 13 are less minimal/ more classical wherein Fashion is becoming exhausted by the minimalist’s movement which reigned over the trends for the last years. In 2013 fashion is talking about sipping martinis at a cocktail party, yachting street side cafes in Paris & so on. The new femininity reminding the 1950s and 1960s is playful as well as seductive. Widely swirling skirts, soft tops and short, square jackets meet narrow short trouser shapes which draw attention to shoes. Tight jeans, metal details will still be fashionable and companies will also focus on details of shiny fabrics and bleeding flowing lines. Blouses with cut shoulders and free line will be a key element. WGSN forecasts that bomber jackets from the mid 1990s will become fashionable again, but more casual and made of lighter materials.(d) This line’s evening dresses will feature furrows and relief surfaces while keeping the contours of the silhouette visible. Dresses with laces and tucks will be fashionable too. Sculpture, relief clothes and white metallic glare will be a hit. Raincoats with dropped shoulders known from the 1980s in soft light cool colours will be back. The trend shows that jackets will have a narrow line and bold colours. Skirts are of medium length, cut with a frill at the waist. Casual dresses will be in dark colours, loose, skirt-type and in layers. (e) Accessories are stylish, without many details, but play a central role. The elegant line of this macro trend relies mainly on tailored tops and flared skirts. (f) Laces, frills and pleating imply romantic spirit. Shiny, strong "candy" or "ice-cream" shades are freshened with neon effects. Flamingo, apricot and violet contrast with black and white.
