Business Model Canvas template for Assessment 2(1)-1

1. One-for-one model
The one-for-one model refers to a model in which a company donates one item to a
charitable cause for each item sold. This is done to appeal to the more empathetic
side of customers to encourage them to purchase while also effecting some form of
change.
This would be a potential model for our company because it supplements the value
driven metric under which the company would function and would meet the
objectives of creating a market that would in turn be in assistance of people.
2. Manufacturer model
This model refers to a traditional business model in which the manufacturer converts
raw materials into a product.
This model would allow us to farm the cannabis and extract the oils, therefore
meaning we sell the secondary product, allowing us to charge for the labour that
goes into the process of extracting oils.
3. Bundling model
Companies sell two or more products together as a single unit, and often lower the
price to less than the amount they would make selling them individually. This is to
generate a greater volume of sales.
The bundling model grows the market quickly as it appeals to 2 aspects of human
nature, consumerism and philanthropy, it allows people to spend while contributing
to the world around them which allows them to be guilt free in excessive spending.
Chosen model
We choose the manufacturer model, as this model engages directly with the type of
business we intend to create. It incorporates the farming stage which would be
where we get the primary resource as well as the extraction stage which functions as
sale of manufacturing of the oils. Allowing us to focus on pharmaceuticals as being
our target market as opposed to individuals which is what the bundling and one-toone model require.
