Lab # 01
Task # 01:
a. Open the blank document in MS Word.
b. Type a short paragraph:
Type: I am learning Microsoft Word. I hope to learn at least one new thing in this
training session. If I have any questions (and I know I will), I will ask the teacher
to answer them so I will not get stuck.
c. Save your work as “Exercise 1” on your desktop.
d. Bold and underline “Microsoft Word”.
e. Italic the word “least”
f. Change the line spacing of the paragraphs to 1.5.
g. Highlight the phrase “and I know I will” in yellow color.
h. Justify the text of your paragraph.
i. Adjust the margin of the document by changing top, bottom, left and right margins to
1.5”.
j. Add a header to the document and write your Name and Surname.
k. Create the footnote with the heading of your document and
l. Type the footnote: My teacher will be happy to see footnotes in my paper.
