Furthermore, the Sepion was built to run a full flexible filling level with the batch sizes ranging from 10% to 100% providing a more flexible approach for your pharma solid process. Spraying The Sepion drum coater is equipped with an automatic spray arm. Gun-to-bed distance as well as the inclination of spray guns are adjusted automatically by recipe or in combination with an optional laser distance control. The standard spray arm provides anti-bearding spray guns with individual supply tubes for liquids. Optionally, Sepion can also be equipped with the pro spray arm in which a common liquid supply and possible circulation is integrated. The spray guns are positioned along the spray arm by a tool-free quick release system without tubing. Thus, misalignment is avoided and setup as well as cleaning time are considerably reduced. 4 SYNTEGON Sepion The new benchmark for coating processes Drying The air flow is an essential part of the process. By optimizing the air flow, a smooth process is provided for a better separation of the spraying and drying zones. The tablet bed temperature can be optionally be monitored by an infrared temperature sensor. Material handling For the safety of your operators, Sepion offers: Closed charging: tablets are guided by a charging tube integrated in the door Closed sampling: by an integrated sampling device Closed discharge: Baffles and sweepers for discharge move the tablets swiftly and in a gentle manner to the discharge port Further containment upgrades are optionally available 5 SYNTEGON Sepion The new benchmark for coating processes Cleaning system The final step can be time consuming unless you come up with a sophisticated cleaning system. A recipe-controlled cleaning in different zones combined with an optimized positioning of the nozzles enables you to achieve the best cleaning results.
