Voter Education

Voter Education is essential. That was the basic idea of the program. It was mentioned how vital it is to
know who to vote for, why to vote, and, of course, to register and vote. Many Filipinos have various
opinions on politics, and some are very interested in learning more about it, such as the candidates in
certain elections, what their goals, background, objective, or major emphasis are. While the other side is
careless or uninterested because of these certain attitudes that arose from previous or present
politicians and specific systems of our government that they do not approve of or are dissatisfied with. .
In any case, regardless of which side you choose, the value of every vote should be taken more
seriously, or people should internalize it more.
We all have ambitions or objectives in life that we wish to reach or obtain; take a moment to see
yourself in those fantasies. Isn't it thrilling? But, at the same time, we are concerned about certain
specific aspects, such as whether we will be able to accomplish. Do we have the courage or
determination to do so? Or, if we are already on the way to achieving or completing our goals, how far
or close are we? And, more significantly, are we making changes or progress as we go? These questions
were also the major emphasis. But what role do dreams have in voters' education, politics, and the
government's system? At the very least, we can have a better understanding of the significance of our
vote in this section. Who knows, your vote may be the one that breaks the tie. So, regardless of whether
you are one of the individuals who are unconcerned about this issue, your vote is still required. And, of
course, in addition to voting, we do background checks on these candidates in order to learn more
about them and their campaigns. If you already have some knowledge about these specific candidates,
you may already know to whom your vote will be counted.
When it comes to progress, as previously said, how far or close are we? We truly can't tell how far or
close we are to achieving our specific objective since we have no clue what actions or safeguards we
need to take in order to comprehend which goes first or how should you should make a move. Which
makes sense in terms of voting or having political awareness. Specific candidates or politicians campaign
in different ways or have different plans, but these plans stem from their roots, from in-depth analysis
of specific issues in our nation, or from personal experiences and the like, so they learn what will be
their strategies.
The contrasts that they and we also have are where our unity comes into play. Despite our differences,
how can we work together to meet our country's needs? In other words, a collective effort. The focus
here is on how we may discuss this topic of differences, such as our own views, in a respectful manner.
However, if we place ourselves in the reverse viewpoint instead of working together, the consequences
would undoubtedly be chaotic. Because, if we look at it simply, we civilians share a same goal: to
improve things and to find solutions to the issues we face.
In conclusion, we can achieve our goals or aspirations if we modify our mindsets, focus on progress
(which includes learning from failures and analyzing other possibilities), and realize how things may still
be different no matter how we normalize it or think of it as extremely common in some aspects. And
this, covers the political aspect as well. Every vote matters, and while politicians may be aware of how to
exploit our weaknesses, we must remember that we are also politicians' weaknesses, and we have
greater power if we can learn to work together constructively despite our differences. Don't let them
buy your votes because your votes represent your future and dreams, as well as the standing of our
nation, and you don't want to be in the wrong hands.
