Doors open at 8:10am. If you arrive early, you will need to wait outside the building. Exceptions
are made for inclement weather.
Once inside the building, students may be in the cafeteria, courtyard, library, or in a
classroom(when teacher has morning tutorials, clubs, etc).

Dismissal is at 4:15pm.
No congregating inside the building. All students need to use nearest exit unless student has
pass for after school organization.
Students in clubs and organizations will be receiving a pass to put on their student ID.
Bus Procedures
Student/Parent MUST complete Bus Rider Registration in order
to receive a SmartTag. SmartTags are required to ride the bus.

The school will communicate when to pick up your SmartTag
Tutoring
● Check with each of your teachers to see when
their specific tutorials times are scheduled. We
are requiring that all teachers post their tutorial
hours on their Canvas page.
Lunch
● During 4th period
● On Monday, there will be time during 1st and 2nd
period to cover which lunch you are assigned to.
Teachers will go over this with you!
● Lunch will be in the cafeteria only this school
year
● No meal delivery is allowed. Do not order using
GrubHub, DoorDash, etc. Meals will not be
accepted or will be thrown away.
● Forgot your lunch? A parent/guardian on your
contact list may drop off in the main office.
● Free Reduced Lunch form is located on our
North Forney High School website(under Quick
Links).

If you have excessive absences, North Forney High School will withhold credit. You may pass the class with a 100. However,
if you are absent more than 10% of the class, you will NOT receive credit. At about 8 absences in a class, you will not receive
credit for the course. In order to regain credit, you will be required to make up all time you missed.
