INTERNET ACTIVITY
Instructions
Using the Internet, find at least five different entertainment options within your area competing for your
entertainment dollar. Find an example of how each property/organization are using marketing strategies to attract
customers. Submit a printed example of each and answer the following questions.
1)
List the five entertainment options you selected.
Cinemark
Golf Courses
Casinos
Fast foods
Local sports
2)
Compare and describe the pricing variance between the different forms of entertainment.
Many places in this list have more food for their dollars, but not the best of quality. Along with more luxury entertainment or
more casual for cheaper. It all depends on what the consumer has to spend.
3)
Have you participated in, or attended, any of these entertainment options in the past? Why or why not?
Yes, because I like to watch movies and like to golf for fun.
4)
Aside from the five options you selected, do you think there other more entertainment options available in your
area?
Yes, because there are always shops or goods competing against one another.
5)
What marketing efforts did these organizations implement to capture your attention?
Ads, Low prices, exclusive deals, etc...
