Hello Bharath,
I liked all the employee retention steps you recommended. Apart from this, I would like to
include gamification to retain restaurant staff for the long run. In gamification, an ordinary
activity, such as visiting a restaurant, is turned into a game. Participating in different activities in
a game rewards participants, just like any other good game. Various points. Webbing. Leveling
up. Status as a VIP. Through gamification, people are rewarded for participating in non-game
environments with all these types of play incentives. Through gamification, something as
mundane as eating a meal becomes an engaging, enjoyable event that everyone can enjoy.
According to Naveed (2021), the manager should keep these tips in mind to ensure their
gamification efforts result in truly engaged workers:

Establishing clear goals and objectives for gamification in the workplace will help you
achieve these. Do you want to boost employee engagement? Did you achieve certain
goals?

Become familiar with your employees' unique needs by listening to them. Is it their drive
that keeps them going? How do they motivate themselves?

Gamification programs should be tailored to the needs and motivations of your
employees.

It is important to communicate the purpose of gamification in the workplace to your
employees.

Gamification should be tested. Gamification plans need to be adjusted according to what
works and what doesn't. (Naveed, 2021).
