My Unforgettable Experience in Tupi National High School
In every teenager's life, one of the most awaited moments is being a high school
student. They say that it will be the best time of your life where you can meet a lot of
people and experience different things. It is also the time where you can be who you are
and choose who you become.
Tupi National High School. It was my dream school since I was a kid. I only heard
how great it is from my sister but since I am one of their students, I'm not going to lie that
it is indeed a great school. My junior year was a roller coaster ride. I've experienced a lot
of things that I never expected I would. In particular, an experience that is unforgettable
was during the Regional Festival of Talents last 2019 held in Kidapawan City. It was filled
with excitement and at the same time, it was also traumatic. The reason that it is my
unforgettable experience is because it is the first time I competed in the regional level and
the alarming part is, we were hit by a magnitude 6.6 earthquake while we were inside of
the gymnasium on the day of the contest. I can clearly remember how every one of us
was terrified by the disaster. I was homesick and wanted to cry. The contest resumed but
the setting and aura was different. In the end, I won second place on Special Program
and Foreign Language (SPFL).
This might be a crazy experience but at least I have something to look back on. I've
met new friends and learned lessons. This unforgettable experience in Tupi National High
School was carved in my heart.
