Financial Assessment
Investment expenditure and value of the entire project:
Our main focus is to get a 3rd party drone company to work with us. Drones range in cost from a few
ten thousand rupees to 10 lakh rupees. As of now we are interested in drones that cost between
Rs:70,000 to Rs:120,000 or more. Renting these drones for a week costs around Rs:10,000Rs:12,000. We assume that operating costs for personnel, loading, and monitoring will be somewhat
negligible and for the starting period we will be loading on our own. Delivery using Drone technology
is a labor-saving/capital-using technology as drones replace labor and trucks with more specialized
capital and labor in the production delivery services.
As of now we have made a website on WIX and will further decide, whether to go with the hosting
plans which WIX provides or to make our own server.
Items from these small kirana stores are going to be listed on our website.
Methods of investment:
There are various investment options, some of these are :
1) Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) Non–corporate small business segment
(NCSB) comprising proprietorship/partnership firms in rural and urban areas can
apply for the loan.
2) 4E (End to End Energy Efficiency) startups in the manufacturing or services sector that
have been operating for at least three years and have earned cash profits in the last two
years are eligible for the loan.
3) Crowdfunding is one of the newer ways of funding a startup that has been gaining a lot
of popularity lately. It’s like taking a loan, pre-order, contribution or investments from
more than one person at the same time. This is how crowdfunding works – An
entrepreneur will put up a detailed description of his business on a crowdfunding
platform. He will mention the goals of his business, plans for making a profit, how much
funding he needs and for what reasons, etc. and then consumers can read about the
business and give money if they like the idea.
Anticipated Productivity :
When all of our products are listed onto our website, we will start getting orders and the supply chain
will start.
As we are using drones , the intense labour needed for loading packages in heavy locomotives like
big trucks is eliminated out of the way.
We live in a 3D world but using modes of travel which are in a 2D plane significantly increases
traffic. On the contrary, Drones move in a 3D plane thus eliminating traffic entirely. Thus, ensuring
faster delivery timings.
Money flows of the project report :
We have 2 ways of making money from this business :
The first is the usual retail arbitrage i.e buying products at a cheaper rate and selling it at a higher
price. With the help of our website and the listed products from various other kirana stores we also
have a no inventory business model which in turn reduces cost.
The second is, through our subscription model. Just like for prime members amazon gives certain
benefits, we are going to give our users some benefits like faster delivery options, late night deliveries
etc.
Investment value evaluated :
As of now for the accompaniment of drones and the building costs of the websites comes at around 510 lakhs for the initial period of our business for all the reasons mentioned.

Marketing Assessment
Product, Price, Place and Promotion:
Kirana stores in India are overwhelmingly looking at adoption of technology to stay relevant amid
business uncertainty due to coronavirus outbreak. Nearly 40 per cent of shops are looking at
partnering with online delivery and supply platforms, says the latest EY 'Sentiments of India' survey.
We wish to collaborate with them so that we can mutually grow in this field and both can gain
something from this , they will help us to provide easy and faster deliveries in their neighbourhood .
The product goods in the kirana stores work on an average profit margin of 20%.
Acquiring new customers is absolutely normal but to realize any profit, WE WILL have to keep these
customers and get more than one order from each.
This will cover the CACs and actually make a customer valuable.
Also we will observe customer behaviour and use it to improve the services we provide.
When you know somebody, their habits and preferences, you can do tailored marketing and sell them
more, we will achieve this by accessing the cookies and searches from the app.
Operational Plan
Business Model :
Our business model is to provide drone deliveries services to our users and provide them with stuff
such as food, health and postal industry. We will be having exclusive contracts with certain retailers
in these sectors.
We won't restrict it only to big retailers but also to our normal kirana and small shops near our houses
who can also help us for same day and faster deliveries.
Impulse buys flourish due to the speed of drone delivery. Many retailers, such as Amazon, do offer
same-day delivery now, making it easy to decide you want something in the morning and have it
delivered by the end of the day. Prime Air’s promise of “30 minutes or less” drone delivery is going
to increase the temptation to push that “Buy Now” button even more, knowing that dress you “have to
have” for the party tonight can get to you faster than the pizza delivery guy.
And keep in mind that these purchases probably won’t be limited to your home. Just like with online
delivery now, drones will be able to drop off that package wherever you are – whether that is at home,
the office or traveling for business.
