Journal File Journal – 8.27.21 How was the first week of school been for you? What expectations did you have about the return to school? What adjustments have you had to make? Explain with specific examples, aim for a page. My first week was chaotic. My car was being repaired at an auto shop so I couldn’t drive to school for the first few days and had to carpool with my friend. When I finally got my car back the first day, I took it to school I lost my wallet with a lot of money in it and with my license. I spent an hour after school looking for It but had no luck and I still haven’t found it even a week after. My expectations for school were met, I’ve been having a good amount of fun ever since school started and I like going to school. It was great being able to see my classmates in person again and talk to them. Journal – 8.31.21 The end of August traditionally marks the end of summer on the Gregorian calendar. What will you miss the most about summer? What are you looking forward to for the Fall season? Use specific examples, aim for a page. I’m going to miss all the free time I had during the summer the most. I could relax all day and had zero to no responsibilities. I’m going to miss going to my friend’s gym 3 times a week, that’s probably not going to happen anymore since our daily schedules are a bit messed up ever since starting school. I’m looking forward to the temperature dropping a bit during the Fall since I’m usually wearing hoodies or sweaters. Thanksgiving and Halloween are also coming, and those holidays are always fun. Journal – 9.2.21 How do you see yourself? In what way do your appearance define you? How does it compare to your actions, behaviors, and beliefs? How do you expect it to change and evolve as you get older? What dreams and goals do you now have that will contribute to how you see yourself in the future? Use specific examples, aim for a page. Journal – 9.8.21 Medieval times are often depicted in period films or dramas. Using that as your point of reference, would you like to live in that time? Do you think it would be better than 2021? Why or why not? I would not like to live in medieval times. Technology wasn’t nearly as advanced as it is today and there were massive hygiene issues. Not to mention the average life expectancy was super low and there were constant raging wars during those periods. I don’t think it would be better than 2021, life during 2021 is relatively calm and stable. Journal – 9.10.21 If you had to tell a story from memory in front of an audience, what would you do to help you make it memorable and entertaining for your audience. Journal – 9.14.21 How do you define a hero? Think about heroes: people you know personally, real people you’ve learned about, and characters from books, film, and TV. What qualities do these figures share? How important are heroes to the world? Use specific examples, aim for.a page.
