NOTE: We kindly request your forgiveness if we can’t inform you in time about any revision on this user manual or equipment design www.aipusolidcontrol.com 1.0 General description HUNTER-D shale shaker is the first solids control equipment in the whole control system. It separates the large amount of solids separated from mud for convenience to enter the 2rd separation equipment. This equipment can be used with one, two or many decks. AIPU also provides the divided-flow manifold. AIPU HUNTER-D shaker is a HF linear machine. It includes three screen frame and two vibration motor. It features handle adjustable while drilling (AWD). The personnel can adjust screen frame from -1°to+5°(usually standard) as the work proceeds. HUNTER-D shakers can separate the cuttings due to the special structure and design. Fix the vibration motor on screen frame by strong support bar and situate it on screen bed.Using base frame, the vibration motor can affect the vibration force (G-force)on screen cloth directly. Avoid the shaking effects on screen basket by isolation mounting. The screen bed is raised lightly for better to tension the screen cloth. Longer life and perfect performance can be combined using this way. For giving play to equipment and ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment, any change is prohibited without written permission of AIPU. Only AIPU spare parts can be used. 2.0 Shale shaker main components and specification 2.1Main components The main components of HUNTER-D shakers include screen basket, vibration motor, screen tensioning system, AWD angle adjustment system, lock device, feeder and electric system. Note: For more information about AWD, please refer Chapter 9. www.aipusolidcontrol.com Box feeder Inlet connection is behind the 10” 1 MPa flange 3.0 Standard equipment and supporting facilities required in site. For playing a perfect performance and reality of AIPU equipment, the following standard equipment and supporting facilities should be provided in site. Standard equipment Electricity Note: For meeting the requirements of electricity 400V -50Hz -3Phase Supporting facilities Users should provide the adjustable flow mud supply piping (If it is provided by our company, the agreement should be remarked) for providing the required flow. The practice flow (capacity) is decided by mud density and viscosity, vibration intensity (adjusted by vibration force of shaker) and the area & mesh of screen. Refer the following data for details: Concerning single shale shaker, the ratio of pure liquid plastic viscosity and density is 1. If the screen area is 0.72mX1.05mX3=2.268m2, coverage is 67%, screen cloth is 100 mesh, vibration intensity is 4.5g and the average flow of inlet is 140m3/h. 4.0 Shale shaker acceptation, and hoisting 4.1 Acceptation After receiving AIPU equipment, check the equipment carefully to confirm whether the parts are damaged or loosen. Sign a packing list by Transportation Corporation when shipping the products to confirm all parts are shipped and registered. Meanwhile, confirm whether all parts’ performance is normal or not when shipping. Then, the Transportation Corporation should be responsible for it. For ensuring the rights of users, please negotiate with Transportation Corporation if the parts are damaged. If the material in list is not enough or the equipment received is different from the ordered equipment, please notice the AIPU. 4.2 Hosting Notice! Lock the equipment tightly before hoisting and transporting it to prevent the parts from being damaged. Refer to Chapter 8. Notice! Use balancing bar to prevent the parts from being damaged while hoisting. Notice! For guaranteeing the balance and direction of equipment, the hook should be hung in set hoisting point to prevent the parts from being damaged. Hanging the hook on motor or any www.aipusolidcontrol.com non-set points is prohibited. Notice! For ensuring a safe bearing, the hoisting capacity of hoister should be enough. Notice! Before installation finishes in the end site, don’t open the locked equipment. Please refer to Chapter 8. Notice! Use all four points at one time while using the overhead hoisting equipment.The shale shaker should be transported before the installation is finished. However, the spare parts will be packed singly. Be equipped with strengthening hoisting shaft in equipment frame while using the overhead hoisting equipment. Remark the “Hoisting Point”. Hanging the hook in motor or non-set parts is prohibited. Balancing bar is better. 5.0 Installation HUNTER-D shakers should be installed following the installation program. It is installed with a whole and without added devices. Notice! Concerning the explanation of hoisting point and balance bar, refer to Chapter 4.2 before installation and movement 5.1 Installation procedures Install HUNTER-D shale shaker as following steps. The order can be changed according to different experiences and devices. 1. Ensure installation site and level the equipment. 2. The mud supply piping of adjustable flow is connected to feeder box of shaker. 3. Inspecting the horizontal support, support strip & side support is installed in relative position. Check and ensure the sieve cloth installation evenly, proper tension intensity. 5.2 Necessary space and position Leave enough space around equipment to maintain, inspect and adjust the equipment. Leave around 2.5ft (760mm) between base of shaker and obstruction. The normal operation and maintenance includes the following: 1. Change the horizontal support, support strip, side support & screen. 2. Easy operation for motor switch cabinet and joint box 3. Adjust the angle of screen basket. 4. Connect, adjust and break off the mud supply piping of adjustable flow. www.aipusolidcontrol.com 5.3 Leveling Leveling the shale shaker to ensure the mud layout is even. The leveling should be along the length and width of the base. Use the hard spacer when level the equipment. 5.4 Power connection Please refer to the circuit schematic diagram to connect the main power line into control cabinet. Shaker motor is three-phase. The frequency is 50Hz or 60Hz. The motor should be run in set voltage. Please refer to the motor power required by motor nameplate. Notice! The motor should be run in set power and voltage Notice! High voltage may be exposed. Lock and remark the power during line connecting to avoid accident. Notice! Electric connection should meet the requirements of NEC and all local standards. Otherwise, the accident to personnel and damage to equipment will be occurred. Ensure all electric and conducting wire is protected. 6. Shale Shaker Operation This chapter includes operation explanation for original starting and normal starting as well as normal closing. Operation safety Notice! Open the lock equipment before starting. Otherwise, the equipment will be damaged seriously or occur other accidents. Notice! All personnel should be far away the equipment before the equipment is in running. Notice! The shell will be hot and cause a hurt during the motor is in running. Don’t touch the shell of motor during the equipment is in running or just stopping. Notice! All the personnel should be far away the equipment before the angle of it is adjusted. 6.1 Original starting The original start program is suitable for the first starting of shakers or resetting after putting a long time. Refer to the original starting explanation as following: 1. Ensure all operation and maintenance personnel should read and comprehend the chapter 2. Ensure all installation is right and finished. 3. Inspect all lock equipment is in opening status to ensure all screens are installed in screen deck. Meanwhile, it also doesn’t affect any running parts. www.aipusolidcontrol.com 4. Inspect all facilities and public electricity are normal. 5. Start the shakers following the normal starting. 6.2 Normal Starting Following steps are suitable for every normal starting. 1. Ensure all operation and maintenance personnel should read and comprehend the chapter 2. Inspect all lock equipment is in opening status to ensure all screens are installed on the screen deck. Meanwhile, it also doesn’t affect any running parts. Especially, any dirties on screen are prohibited. 3. Pressing “START” to open the motor. The motor will be in running temperature after five minutes. 4. Open the adjustable mud flow piping to make the mud flow to screen. 5. Inspect the shape of material. Ensure the mud flowing on the screen is ideal ly based on the adjustable screen angle and mud flow according to AWD angle adjustment system. 6.3 Normal Closing The normal closing program is suitable for stopping action during controlling.The normal closing program is suitable for the conditions such as equipment cleaning, lubrication, inspection and adjustment as well as screen change. The steps are as following: 1. Divert and cut off the shakers. 2. Drain the rich or inadequate material and liquid from screen. 3. Close the power and stop the motor. 4. Lock and remark the equipment. 5.Wash the screen with water hose to remove the residual material from screen as well as wash the angle of side wall of screen basket. 7.0 Shale shaker maintenance Daily maintenance can ensure the longer life and make the equipment run without any trouble. The daily operation schedule is flexible. The users can change it according to their use experiences. The following factors must be considered when establishing a maintenance schedule: • Work Circulation • Ambient Temperature • Operating Environment Daily operation includes proper inspection and clean. The daily maintenance is recommended www.aipusolidcontrol.com as following: Check the feeder inlet connection pipe whether there is leakage. Tight the inlet connection pipe according to demands. One time for each shift. Clean the sediment from inner wall and screen bed on the water hose while the equipment is in running. These sediments will increase the snubbed block load and reduce the shaker separation capacity for solids. One time for each shift or according to demands to decide. Inspect the screen tension and work status. The connection of screen and screen basket should be reliable. Any hole or deficiencies in screen is prohibited. Otherwise, the solids will be drained. If the screen is damaged, change it in time. One time for each shift. Inspect the horizontal support , support strip and side support to make sure whether they are damaged or deteriorated. If these parts are ineffective, change the damaged screen. Inspect tension parts whether they are damaged or deteriorated. Tension parts of screen are fixed in base of basket with tension screen safely. If the screen tension is not proper, the life will be reduced. The daily maintenance for motor is based on chapter 12.3. 8.0 Locking device The relative fixing of lock equipment is achieved through locking clamp welded in base beam clasps to lock shaft in screen basket. Avoid the isolation mountings or other parts during transportation. Notice! Users should follow the Notice Explanation on equipment operation and equipment hoisting. This locking device is easy to operate and reliable in performance. 9.0 AWD angle adjusting system The size of particles, extent of polymerization of drilling particles, inlet speed, drilling type and the screen regulation change all can affect the covering area of panel area on screen. In tests, the proper area of mud polymerization on screen can maximize the screen effective area. The aggregation area of mud can be adjusted via adjusting the angle of screen basket. AWD (Adjustable While Drilling) angle adjustment system can improve the dividing effects and save the expensive drilling liquid. Through that, the cost of drilling can be reduced. 10.0 Adjustment principal of screen basket Generally speaking, aggregation area should cover all screens expecting for the dry screen www.aipusolidcontrol.com (the screen in spigot opening). Thus, the AWD operator should refer to the Fig. 006. Adjust the angle of screen basket in time according to the change of mud aggregation area in screen. Fig. 006 10.1 Structure characters AWD angle adjustment system can raise or lower the screen basket end while the equipment is running. It includes two vertical support assemblies connected with upper beam assembly and shale shaker base. The moveable part of AWD is composed of lower column, position limiting wheel that controls the vertical movement and hydraulic jack that drives the screen basket movement upward and downward. The fixing end of jack is connected with upper column assembly. The lower column assembly fixes the moveable piston bar of oil tank. The reciprocating switch handles pump or opens the return oil valve of handle pump to make an upward and downward movement for the screen basket between two vertical shafts. Easy operation for this angle adjustment system is owed to the hydraulic equipment. The adjustment rang is -1°~5°by 0.5°according to requirements. Notice! The range form 0°to -1°is suitable for cleaning the screen and inner sludge on the screen wall. www.aipusolidcontrol.com 10.2 Elevating angle of screen basket Close the oil return valve hand pump and turn the operation handle slightly. There is a slight elevation from the lower column. Take off the side spring and dowel. Turn the operation handle of handle pump. Insert the side dowels and spring catch after the mud degradation area is suitable. After that, open the oil return valve of handle pump. 10.3 Lower the elevation angle of screen basket Close the oil return valve of hand pump and turn the operation handle slightly. There a slight elevation from the lower column. Take off the side spring and dowel. Open the oil turn valve of hand pump slowly. Insert the side dowels and spring catch after the oil turn valve of hand pump is closed. After that, open the oil return valve of hand pump. 11. Quick tensing system of shaker screen AIPU patented shaker is an expensive consumable parts. The height of installation will affect the use life and performance of screen directly. The screen should be tensioned and contacted with the screen bed and relative parts. The speed screen tension system is fixed with AIPU equipment for fixing the high-effective tension system suitably. Quick bolt change structure makes an easy operation for screen. The edged strip and quick change bolt will cause a better screen tension. The end edge of edged strip is hooked with edge of screen. The axis of tension bolt is crossed the side wall of screen basket frame. The tension bolt is crossed the slot of edged strip and be fasten by turning. The bolt and edged strip can be tightened by turning the nut of screen basket. Meanwhile, the edge of screen also can be fastened tightly. Six quick change bolt assemble is needed for each screen. Tension bolt 11.1 Screen installation The following program is for the first screen installation and change. 1.Before installation, refer the equipment close and feeder as well as notice mark explanation on Chapter 5 & 6 Equipment Operation. 2.Inspect the each parts of bed body of screen basket if normal and change the discarded or damaged parts before the screen is installed. 3.Clean screen strip and the parts that contacts with edged strip, horizontal support, support strip and side support. 4.Insert the tension bolt from inner into aligning hole of screen basket side. Install the spacer, spring spacer and nut from the screen basket outer side. Put the nut between screws of bolt ends. This step is suitable for the first installation or quick bolt change. 5.One edged strip of screen putted on screen bed is contacted with locating block in the side of table surface. The side that vertical to slip screen should slipped to horizontal supporting. 6.Ensure whether the head of draw bolt is in loosen position (refer to Fig. 010). www.aipusolidcontrol.com Fig. 010 6.The edged strip installed is combined with strip of screen. Then, the tensing bolt crosses the striped hole. The head of draw bolt is turned 90°and in lock position. 7.Tighten the nut in outer screen basket in the side of welded locating block by wrench. Fasten the draw bolt according to order of Fig. 010. 8.Fasten the raw bolt in the side of basket according to the tighten steps. 9.Ensure the screen is dinged to screen basket by hand after the draw bolt is tighten. Adjust it if requiring Notice: Locating block is on the inner wall of screen is better for guaranteeing an even tensing. Fasten the binding bolt from the side of locating block when installing the screen. Disassemble the loosen bolt from the position without locating block when disassemble the screen. 11.2 Screen disassembly The following steps are for screen disassembly that needs to be changed. 1.Close the mud supplying of the feeder. 2.Wash the residue material on the surface of screen with water. 3.Ensure all equipment is closed. Lock and mark the Warning Board. 4.Loosen the binding bolt according to Fig. 010 by wrench in the outer screen basket of non-weld locating block. www.aipusolidcontrol.com 5.Loosen the binding bolt according to Fig. 010 by wrench in the outer screen basket of weld locating block. 6.Disassemble the edged strip after the bolt end is in vertical position(un-lolcked) by whirling the draw bolt. 7.Disassemble the screen from the table surface of screen basket. 8.After disassembly, inspect the horizontal support and flow protection parts whether they are normal. Change the discarded or damaged parts. 9.Before installation of new screen, wash the horizontal supporting and side supporting as well as residual or fragments in supporting strip. 12.0 Vibration motor Vibration motor is power resource for shaker system with advantages such as wider vibration, reliable performance and easy maintenance. The installation and adjustment in this chapter is only for shaker system. 12.1 Installation and Adjustment 12.1.1Installation 1.Inspect whether the motor is wetting and fastening pieces are loosen, and then solve the problems.. 2.Inspect and ensure the installation position surface of all vibration motors is stable, plane (planeness is less than 0.08mm). The footing of vibration motor is clean. 3.Hoisting the vibration motor to the installing position and fasten the fastening piece according to location and installation steps. Fasten force moment is 500 NM. 12.1.2 Adjustment Read and comprehend Power Connection & Equipment Installation concerning operation safety and the first start. Adjustment in this section is only suitable for newly changed vibrator motors. Notice: The direction of two motors in shaker should be opposite normally. www.aipusolidcontrol.com 12.2 Lubrication of motor bearing High temperature lubrication grease has been filled in inner space in bearing after the installation for new vibration motor. The suitable temperature is -40~150°C. The direct continues running time is 2000 hours. Feed the lubrication grease once with oil fill gun after 2000 hours for the middle-speed motor running. The feeding is no less than 26g for each bearing. For 2000 hours, if the temperature of the shaft rises to above 10°C, it means the lubrication grease is poor, in that case the cycle of lubrication and filling lubrication grease should be reduced. Quantity of filling the lubrication grease of each shaft is no more than 26g during 2000 hours. For example: If the lubrication cycle is half (1000 hours) comparing with normal condition, the lubrication grease is no more than 13g. The bearing cycle of lubrication and lubrication grease will be a half if the daily temperature raising 10°C. The temperature raising will last for one or two days naturally after the shaft is lubricated or relubricated. The oil hole should be daily sealed by oil piston to avoid the dust entering and damaging the shaft. 12.3 Daily Maintenance 1.Remove the dust on shell for cooling the motor basing on the clean condition of surface. 2.Inspect the fix parts of motor base and nuts of end cover if loosen. If happened, stop the machine and tight it. One time for one month 3.Add the LGHP2 lubrication once with filling gun. The filling is no more than 26g for each shaft. One time for 2000 hours 4.Observe the temperature raising of motor (the temperature raising means the running temperature subtract ambient temperature ) one time for half a month, if the temperature raising is abnormal, Motor Bearing should be maintained following the first chapter of lubrication for Motor Bearing in time. If the running temperature of bearing of motor shell exceeds 100℃consult the AIPU in time. 5.Check the cable scored or damaged. Change it if it is damaged in time. One time for three months 6.Ensure the grounding resistance of motor shell is no more than 0 ohms. One time for three months www.aipusolidcontrol.com Notices 1.Turn off the power to avoid the motor if the motor fails to work. 2.Observe the motor if normal. Turn off the motor to shoot the trouble and switch on to start. 3.The guarantee will be failed if maintain the vibration motor or change the bearing by yourself. 13. Transportation, storage and warranty 13.1 Transportation a Before long-distance transportation, need to use transport support to support and protect equipment. b When loading and unloading the whole vehicle, the lifting position should be determined, and the impact should be avoided during transportation; c When transporting equipment, the car or cargo compartment should be reliably operated, sealed truck or protected canvas should be used to avoid the impact of bad weather on the machine, and avoid any rough handling or oversight collision. 13.2 Storage The equipment should be put in dry surroundings (relative humidity below 50% ) if it is not to be installed immediately. Storing it in dry surroundings can keep the performance. Notice! If the equipment is put outdoor, please pack it with UV tarp or shrink wrap. Open the vent with shrink wrap. Notice! If the relative humidity is higher (relative humidity exceeds 50%), the vibration motor is easier to be damaged. The vibration motor that is not to be used immediately should be stored in the surroundings with a lower humidity. Notice! When store equipment, avoid any rough handling or oversight collision. 13.3 Warranty We will guarantee the products of this supply for a period of 12 months from the date of start up at site (Russia) or 26 months from delivery date, whichever comes first. Notice! Wearing parts are excluded. 14. Electrical control principle 15. Equipment drawing
