PRSENTATION ASSIGNMENT GUIDELINES For this presentation, you will present an argument concerning one element from the texts we have read. You must argue one interesting and convincing point about our texts that has not been substantively covered in class discussions. We do not want a rehash of class discussion that repackages what we have already said. You need to say something new. Furthermore, as in a traditional essay on literature, you must perform a close reading of a text. You can use McCloud as a guide for this if you want. You must also bring in outside sources, either those from class or others. Your focus needs to be specific, detailed, and convincing to ensure that you are not just telling your peers about something, rather trying to convince them. This should be an engaging oral and visual presentation for the class.
