QA JOB DESCRIPTION













Create and execute test automation scripts for both Web/Mobile
Execute integration testing; API testing using Postman
Define, document, and obtain approval for Test Strategy and Approach, including objectives,
overall phasing and testing methodology and standards.
Determine and meet time estimates and schedules for testing efforts.
Manage execution of testing efforts, including meeting committed delivery dates for released
and soon to be released applications and components.
Ensure highest level of quality performed by test team.
Manage external QA and testing resources for testing while maintaining highest quality.
Review the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing
and migration of defects) is properly addressed. If not, define the defect tracking process and
incorporate it into the overall development process.
Communicate effectively with customers and vendors as appropriate. Facilitate structured walkthrough and peer reviews. Coordinate and execute regression testing, test automation and
functionality testing. Continuously update the Application User Documentations.
Lead/support other Testers on the testing team and manage testing process questions and/or
issues.
Define and create test models (test plans, test data, test scripts, and entry/exit criteria). Plan
and execute test scripts following detailed steps and scenarios.
Facilitate internal trainings about the client’s automation testing framework to newly on
boarded resources and to other automation resources as a refresher course.
Conduct assessments to select suitable automation testing candidates to be endorsed to the
project client. Also, involve interviewing resources directly hired by the project client.
