Elitism in the Military
An "elitist" is someone who advocates for the existence of an elite in a system or
society as a dominating factor. Globalization has spawned elitism. Many countries have
groups of people who are assigned specific duties. A few are intelligent, while others
are wealthy, and some are well educated in a particular profession.
There are a lot of wealthy individuals in the military. To save money, the
government recruits affluent people to join exclusive groups. Since it is pretty expensive
to outfit a single soldier in the military, which costs around 20,000 dollars, they do not
include the vehicles used by the military to drive or fly throughout the airspace.
The rich can also support the military because of their connections with the
government. They get to be an elite group and contribute to the military by supporting it.
Because they have a good relationship with the government, they may release items
from their company.
However they are those who assume that the government is the only one that
deals with the military, whether it is spending money on equipment or anything else.
However, this is not entirely accurate since some assist the military by making
recommendations for, for example like wealthy and rich people. People in government
elites provide them with food, and the taxes we pay go to military expenditures, but they
also receive money from wealthy individuals in government.
A retired high-ranking government employee could join an exclusive club after
retirement because the government wants someone with knowledge and experience to
advise or build better plans for missions in other nations. As a result, they can
subsequently exploit these plans to generate international conflict with other nations,
therefore preventing failures of missions.
The military requires weapons from other countries at times, spending trillions of
dollars along with food, etc. Especially during wartime, they turn to elite groups for
assistance in exporting weapons from other nations.
However, as the United States does not want to be seen selling these weapons
to our military, the elites have decided to do it themselves. For the simple reason that if
they are discovered, it might lead to a global conflict, therefore they have individuals to
support them from outside, as well as affluent and wealthy elite group members.
It is clear that elitism can be found everywhere, but it is more prevalent in the
military since they are stronger, and there are other places where elitism may be
sponsored by members of groups.
