Section A Creative writing (20 marks)
Question 1
1.Write a story of about 150 words about something that you enjoyed doing. Your story
must have three paragraphs.
2.Follow these steps:
A. Plan: Mind map
Paragraph 1: Who were you with?, Where did you go, When did you go? Paragraph 2:
What happened next? .Paragraph 3: What happened in the end?
B. Write a first draft.
Write your story in sentences. Use the ideas from your mind map.
C. Read your story, also check your first sentence, does it answer the questions who,
when and where?, your last sentence, is it a good ending?
D. Check for mistakes that is spelling, grammar and punctuation.
E. Write your story neatly, add the tittle.
Section B Transactional writing. (Marks 10)
Question 2
Imagine that you are one of the children from Sunny Day Children Centre. Write a letter
to the children from Red Hill Primary School. Thank them for raising money to buy new
blankets.
