STAGE COMBAT SCENE ASSIGNMENT With a partner, create a comedic stage combat scene. 1. Each member of the group must attack another person 4 times (grappling does not count). Use only the moves that you have been taught. Maximum 1 foot stomp each. The scene should be an argument that starts over something very small and trivial. E.g.: Fighting over a piece of candy, what movie to watch, who pays the bill for dinner, what kind of coffee is the best. The more insignificant, the better. 2. ASSESSMENT CRITERIA: Are you methodical in your moves? Do you prevent yourself from rushing the moves? Do you make eye contact with your partner before attacking? Do you vocalize violently (scream, shout, yell, groan) to sell the scene? 3. Do you commit to the actions and motivate them with real anger, scorn, hate, and rage? USE THIS HAND OUT TO PLAN YOUR FIGHT: Stage combat choreography What MOVE? Who is ATTACKER? (Write them out in order) Who is VICTIM?
