Part 1
1. Research artists who use stencils in their work.
2. Choose one to research a bit more.
Part 2
1. Use a document, slide presentation, or other creative means. Call it “LastFirst_Stencil Artists”
2. In the document, add the image of the artist. If you change the size, drag from the corner to maintain
the proportions of the image.

• Include a credit line- which means to cite the work including at least these 4 items: title, media,
size, and year created
4. Prepare a statement that is a detailed explanation why this artist chooses to use
stencils, or explain how the artist uses stencils.
• If you provide detailed information of how you experience, or relate to, this artwork-in detail,
more than ‘I like it.’ You will earn extra-bonus points.
5. Add a word count at the bottom of the page (minimum word count of 100 words ~not including artist
name, or work cited)
