The Diary of a Young Girl (PROJECT DISCUSSION) Keeping a Reader’s Response Journal 1. Read the novel everyday during the Reading Time, Wednesday EL Time, and during Morning Assembly and your free time. 2. Prepare a Reader’s Response Journal to be updated every time you read. 3. For your response, consider her daily entry and date your response based on the diary date. 4. Your response must be authentic by expressing your real feeling towards the situation and characters. Every entry must contain the following: 1. New Words Learned and their meanings 2. Questions that come to your mind while reading (at least 3) 3. Answers to the given questions by the teacher (if there are) 4. Feelings/ emotions felt while reading with explanations 5. Reflection/ Lessons learned about life Part 1 of the Project: Reader’s Response Journal You may design your online journal; You may include photos; Feel free to create your journal design.
