In the new phase of our future, where technologies flourish faster than our lives, how can we survive the spreading stigma of cyber bullying? As of today, we control our world by our fingertips. Stewards of this new era are now swallowed in different Social Medias like Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Instagram and others. We express ourselves and create our own platforms with the help of it. But as we continue to go further with our so called "virtual world", let's bear in our minds the possible consequences of it. Cyber bullying is a lifetime scar for the victims. It is torture for them because most of the times, they're facing a faceless and nameless enemy. Once a person experienced cyber bullying, they indulge with depression which can lead them to their own suicidal thoughts. Cyber bullying victims may adapt a long time low self-esteem that will cause and increased anxiety to severe mental health conditions which affects their well-being, and worse, can cause them to be self-destructive and commit suicide. The anti-cyber bullying act should be strengthened so that more people will think first before they "click". Schools can also adopt rules and policies to address the existence of bullying in every institution. Help the youth to become smart and responsible in using social media. Provide opportunities for the young ones to engage themselves to worthwhile activities that will help them grow and become a responsible individual. It can also be prevented by close monitoring from guardians to ensure that no one's being bullied and bullying someone online. Always remember that there are always two sides in every story. It depends on our perspective on how we understand the situation. God, our creator, creates us different from one another. We should perceive in both of our heart and mind the value of respect. And live our lives to the fullest without filters.
