From then, you became our new leader
The new father of the sprawling Batasan community that continues to thrive
Under your stewardship, we reached greater heights
Across all areas, we fought the good fights
With winnings in writing competitions, robotics, research, and many more
The Batasan Community never stopped making louder roars
When the pandemic hit, we looked up to you for guidance
And without missing a beat, you gave your marching orders
Education must go on, you reiterated
And for us teachers, it meant one thing: Our job’s not finished
As your service in the public service comes to an end
We are gathered here today to say our final thanks
