On the other hand, viruses do replicate and adapt to their environment and are made up of many things like proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and carbohydrates. However, this does not justify viruses as living things. Just because viruses are not considered to be a living thing,does not mean they cannot be a part of a living system.
