An organization can be described as a systematic arrangement of people brought together to accomplish some specific purpose. These organizations are put and kept together to meet a need or to pursue collective goals. Advancement of internet and information technology is like a double-edged sword to an organization. This phenomenon leads to the emergence of online security issues such as identity theft, virus threats, and phishing and hacking, which are continual threats to the business. As for internal issues, there is a tendency that employees might exploit IT resources for personal usage such as posting denigrating comments about the company or colleagues, or by accessing subversive or pornographic. Furthermore, there are numerous unique managerial challenges in term of complexity and a broader set of environmental forces that mangers to cope due to globalization. Managers need to plan to approach global demographics from a business to a consumer perspective in the best way. Managers also need to distinguish between processes can be performed universally and internationally and processes that can only be done in a localized fashion to adhere to each specific region’s tastes and customs. Cultural barriers have been torn down by the impact of globalization which has resulted in diversity in the workplace. Managing diversity is more than simply acknowledging differences in people. Managers must understand the customs and cultural predispositions of their subordinates and carefully ensure they do not violate crucial cultural rules. Managers are required to be understanding and open-minded to perspectives other than their own. Luthor (2019) stated diversity training is a normal part of diversity programs and is meant to educate people on how to work with others from a diverse background. Ethics are the moral principle that helping people distinguish right and wrong conduct. The challenge is that most ethical decisions exist in an ambiguous area where there is no crystal clear decision that quantitative analysis or other data can be used to determine it. Managers can fulfill their responsibility by making sure that the organization’s ethical code acknowledged by employees and get the opportunity to ask questions to make it clear. Managers also coping with social responsiveness related issue as society’s growing alarm over industrial. Managers’ concerted effort helped to develop a technology which enables some products they produced can be recycled. There is an increasing number of organizations emphasize creativity and innovation as a core aspect of their strategy as the environment in which they operate is changing constantly. Organizations need to adapt the concept of creative and innovative and fuse it into their business strategies. It is important to exercise flexibility in management. Landry (2017) stated that executives need to be comfortable with failure and give employees the freedom and flexibility to experiment with and explore new opportunities.
