Star Wars (Title Undetermined) From the Journal of the Whills written by Jayden Frens A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away. . . Nar Shaddaa: 8 Hours after the battle of Geonosis INT. NAR SHADDAA - GHUTRA PRIME DISTRICT - NIGHT A hooded Jedi walk in the streets of the Ghutra Prime District. He passes the countless criminals and smugglers that villainizes Nar Shaddaa. The Jedi stops and sits by one of the bars. He tugs the tender's shirt to grab his attention. The tender turns to look at the hooded figure, ignoring his previous task. JEDI I'll have a glass of. . . Hosnian Gaftitara please. BARTENDER Clear or Rough? Clear. JEDI The tender nods and asks his droid helper to get a glass. The droid disappears for a moment and returns with the glass. A female weequay sits next to the hooded Jedi. FEMALE WEEQUAY I know why you're here Jedi. You're looking for that clone right? The hooded Jedi looks at the weequay, putting his hand on his lightsaber. JEDI You know where he is? FEMALE WEEQUAY Yes, I saw him recently. Please follow me I'll show you the area I last saw him. The weequay leaves the bar and heads for an alley that is nearby. The Jedi looks at the weequay and then follows her. She enters the dark alley and goes through the many corners that it has. The Jedi is getting more cautious with each step. 2. The Jedi stops and ignites his green bladed lightsaber. He points it at the weequay. JEDI Where is he? The weequay stops and starts laughing. She turns toward the Jedi. FEMALE WEEQUAY Oh, you Jedi are so gullible. You have fallen right into my trap. Then criminals of all shapes and sizes pops out of nowhere and starts firing their stun bolts at the Jedi. The Jedi at first, does a good-job deflecting the bolts toward the criminals, taking them down one by one. But soon, the stun bolts starts to overwhelm the Jedi until he starts to get hit by them. The Jedi falls to the ground unconscious. The weequay stands over the motionless body of the Jedi, and pulls out a holocommunicator. A holographic projection of a hooded figure pops up. FEMALE WEEQUAY (CONT'D) We got the Jedi. HOODED FIGURE Very good Tonjia. My plan is one step closer to completion. Soon the Orax Syndicate will control the outcome of this war. The hooded figure laughs maliciously before she disbands the call. (The film starts with text instead of an opening crawl) TEXT 6 days later. (Qui Gon's Funeral Theme plays) EXT. CORUSCANT - JEDI TEMPLE - NIGHT The Temple glows in the Coruscant night. The front section are filled with Jedi, lined up on both sides of the stairway. The Jedi are in their brown robes, with their hoods up over their head. 3. Temple guards march up to the entrance of the Temple. They're holding their yellow bladed lightsabers toward the night sky. There are hundreds of caskets floating by them. You see a human boy in a white Jedi tunic. This boy is, KILLIAN SAREIS, a 15 year old Jedi Padawan. He stands by his new master, CORVUS T'VUUD, a middle aged Jedi master who has a visible scar across his fake eye. YODA and MACE WINDU are in front of the Temple's entrance, standing by the feet of a statue. They overlook the Jedi funeral. MACE WINDU All the deaths and mourning is all my fault. Yoda looks at Windu YODA A great teacher, regret is. You must learn from it. MACE WINDU I'm sure all of us will learn in this war. Yoda nods in agreement. Killian stares at the last casket coming into the temple. His eyes are filled with sadness. INT. JEDI TEMPLE - KILLIAN'S QUARTER The room is dark. Killian is sitting on the bed, staring at the empty wall. Begin flashbacks EXT. JEDI TEMPLE - GARDEN MARUAMA voice appears in Killian's dream. Maruama is an old friend of Killian who died in the catacombs of Geonosis. MARUAMA Take care of yourself while I'm gone. . . I'm sorry Killian. . . it's the will of the force. . . End flashbacks 4. MARUAMA (CONT'D) . . . Trust in it . . . Killian wakes up from the flashback, he looks around and sighs. The door to his room slides open, revealing his master Corvus T'Vuud. Corvus enters the dark room, and turns on the light with the force. CORVUS T'VUUD How are you? KILLIAN SAREIS Ummm. . . good. What is it? It's getting late. CORVUS T'VUUD I'm just in here to tell you we got a mission briefing tomorrow at the Republic Intelligence Center. Killian face is confused. KILLIAN SAREIS At the Republic Intelligence Center? I'm guessing we're working with the new clone army then? EXT. CORUSCANT - REPUBLIC INTELLIGENCE CENTER - LANDING BAY A small transport ship arrives at the large silver center. Many Acclamator class Assault Ships hover over the center, some are leaving. Several AT-TE walkers roam across the front area of the center. There are many uniformed groups of Clone Troopers, marching like lifeless robots. They guard the front entrance of the center. There are only a handful of grey uniformed officers. The transport ship's door slides open, Killian and Corvus walk out of the ship. Killian is astonished by the many clone troopers, AT-TE walkers and Acclamators. This was the first time he saw them in person. The two of them walk toward the entrance of the center. An republic intelligence officer comes and greets them. The officer is BEN DRALIK. BEN DRALIK Hello I'm Ben Dralik, I will guide you to your destination. 5. They follow Ben to the entrance of the center. KILLIAN SAREIS There are so many clones here! BEN DRALIK For the past three and a half days. The republic been amassing troops here on Coruscant. KILLIAN SAREIS To protect the capital? BEN DRALIK Some but mostly to be assigned Jedi generals. Corvus turns to look at Ben. CORVUS T'VUUD Aren't the Jedi too inexperienced to lead such armies into battle? BEN DRALIK Judging from the casualties on Geonosis I agree, but we can't do much about it anyways. I heard it was the Chancellor's decision. Corvus thinks into that statement. CORVUS T'VUUD . . . strange. They enter the building through the large doors. INT. REPUBLIC INTELLIGENCE CENTER - HALLWAY The hallways are filled with officers with the same uniform as Ben. Some are staring at the passing two Jedi. They walk through countless hallways within the Center. They get to the brief room and enter it through the metal automatic door. INT. REPUBLIC INTELLIGENCE CENTER - BRIEFING ROOM. The door reveals a large room with many computer screens around. It has a round amphitheater in the middle where a clone is overviewing it. He wears a pauldron and kama, and looks buffer than the clones they seen before. His armor has green and grey markings on it. 6. Killian and Corvus notices that their are three other Jedi in the briefing room. PRUUG LOGA and SARVIN DYAK. Pruug Loga, an orange female twi'lek Jedi who is an infamous Jedi double blade lightsaber duelist. She has potential of becoming a Temple Guard. Sarvin Dyak is the padawan to Pruug Loga. He's around 17-18 years old. Corvus walks toward Pruug Loga, and greets her. CORVUS T'VUUD Hello there, Master Loga. I wasn't expecting to see you here today. Corvus bows his head a little. PRUUG LOGA Well I'm here the same reason you are. CORVUS T'VUUD You know exactly what the mission is about? PRUUG LOGA Nope not at all. CORVUS T'VUUD Well, I'm grateful to be working with you, especially with a great duelist. I'd hate to be at the opposite end of your blade. PRUUG LOGA I would to. I see you have a new padawan. Corvus looks at Killian and brushes his hair. CORVUS T'VUUD His name is Killian Sareis, an exceptional padawan learner for his age. I'm very proud to be his master. Killian smiles. PRUUG LOGA Well I hope my padawan and him can get along. Sarvin can be an womp rat sometimes. 7. Sarvin walks over to Killian while their masters continue their talk. SARVIN DYAK Exceptional is an overstatement. I seen your records, they're not impressive at all. KILLIAN SAREIS We're teammates now, so can we act like ones. SARVIN DYAK Just don't get in my way. Door on the opposite side of the room opens. Interrupting the conversations that were going on in the room. A humanoid bird figure walks into the room. The figure is PZIER GOWL, the General of Republic Intelligence. PZIER GOWL I'm glad everyone was able to make it. Other than the commando squad we ordered in but they seemed to be absent. Nail comes to Pzier Gowl and whispers something. Sounds of understanding escape Pzier's. PZIER GOWL (CONT'D) Ah I see. Well the squad is not gonna be with us because of reassignments. Gowl points toward the clone overviewing the hologram PZIER GOWL Nail over there will the context and then Please ask questions any. (CONT'D) brief you on the objective. if you have Nail grabs a tablet on the amphitheater. He types something into the control panel. Someone in similar armor to NAIL is projected up on the amphitheater. NAIL Two weeks ago, Alpha ARCs also known as Advanced Recon Commandos were deployed to multiple systems across the galaxy. They were to give the Republic an intelligence advantage over the Separatists before the war even started. 8. The ARC Trooper looks up at the projection of the Clone Trooper. NAIL (CONT'D) ALPHA-24 COAL was deployed in Hutt space to Nar Shaddaa. We lost contact with him shortly after. Dyak raises his hand and Nail acknowledges it by nodding. SARVIN DYAK Anything vital about the clone himself? NAIL I was just gonna get into that. Oh my bad. SARVIN DYAK NAIL Nah you're fine. Coal and just about everyone of his fellow ARCs, including me, have vital information on Republic bases and tactics. Losing that would cause major causalities across the fronts. CORVUS T'VUUD Where on Nar Shaddaa? Nail pulls up a projection of Nar Shaddaa, and then zooms into it. A city comes into view with a small section highlighted red. NAIL He was somewhere in the Ghutra Prime district. CORVUS T'VUUD Great, I know that area. I barley escaped with my life years ago. It has the highest percentage of crime and villainy, making it the most dangerous area on the planet. NAIL Well at least we have someone that's familiar with it. Killian steps forward and analyzes the hologram closely. 9. KILLIAN SAREIS How long has he been missing? Nail goes back to looking at his tablet. NAIL About six days. Sarvin Dyak raises his hand quickly. Alpha-19 Nail nods toward Dyak. KILLIAN SAREIS I'm guessing you sent someone prior to us to retrieve him? NAIL Yes. Shortly after the battle of Geonosis, we realized that Jedi Master Ujuvik was in the system. A hologram of Ujuvik is shown on the projector. Ujuvik race is Valyarion. A furry camel head race that resides near the Unknown regions. Ujuvik looks to be an older of his kind as he is shown with grey facial hair. NAIL (CONT'D) We sent Ujuvik to Nar Shaddaa and. . . lost contact with him almost immediately. PZIER GOWL Sorry to bud in but any knowledge on this Jedi would be greatly appreciated. CORVUS T'VUUD Ujuvik is a Jedi Loremaster. . . basically a master historian of the past of the Jedi and force. He declined the council rank multiple times throughout his life. PZIER GOWL Are you aware of his age Corvus? CORVUS T'VUUD I think he's around 400 years old. PZIER GOWL Oh, if we knew that we would've picked a different Jedi. What exactly was he doing in Hutt Space? 10. CORVUS T'VUUD Well like I said, he's an historian, he's interested in finding more about the Jedi. PZIER GOWL I thank you for telling me about Ujuvik. Anyways, Nail sorry we got off tracked a bit, you may continue. NAIL Thank you General. On to our mission objective, it is to go undercover and search for Coal and Master Ujuvik. You will be assigned different clothing of course. We'll discuss more on the way there. SARVIN DYAK Why not here? PRUUG LOGA I think it's because we're losing time. EXT. CORUSCANT - REPUBLIC INTELLIGENCE CENTER - LANDING BAY Everyone is walking on the red carpet towards the ship. The ship is an NU-class Assault shuttle that is also a troop carrier. The shuttle is pattered with silver dark grey plates. It two wings are in the landing position where they both angle to each other, making a triangle. They all are wearing different outfits, just civilian clothing. KILLIAN SAREIS I'm kind of worried about this mission master. CORVUS T'VUUD What exactly are you worried about? KILLIAN SAREIS What if I was put into a position where I'm alone, and I have no idea what to do. 11. CORVUS T'VUUD Trust in the force. When you're alone, let it guide your thoughts. And don't worry about that, I promised to protect you with the best of my ability. KILLIAN SAREIS Thank you Master. Killian chuckles. KILLIAN SAREIS (CONT'D) Maruama would always say that. CORVUS T'VUUD Well he might've been more wiser than even I. Even when I was his master, he taught me a lot. Nail is first to enter the ship, followed by the rest of the 5 unit team. Before Corvus enters, he waves goodbye to Gowl and Dralik just as the door closes. INT. NU CLASS ASSAULT SHUTTLE - COCKPIT Nail and Corvus goes into the tight cockpit. There are two pilots sitting in front of the ship's control panel. The pilot on the right is JAG and the opposite end is TRIX. They both look behind and sees the Jedi and ARC trooper. JAG We're working with Jedi now? Just wasn't expecting that. NAIL This is Master T'Vuud. He and a few other Jedi will be on this mission with me. Jag shake hands with the Jedi. JAG I'm Jag and my copilot next to me is Trix. Trix also shakes hands with Corvus. TRIX Nice to meet you. 12. CORVUS T'VUUD Nice to meet you too. How long have you guys been pilots. TRIX Almost a year with this piece of junk. CORVUS T'VUUD Doesn't really look like one. TRIX You'll eventually understand. Well why don't you guys get situated in the transport room and while we start blasting off. Corvus and Nail both head back to the transport room where the rest of the team is at. The copilots starts pressing multiple buttons, the ship turns on and the engine is heard in the background. EXT. CORUSCANT - REPUBLIC INTELLIGENCE CENTER - LANDING BAY The transport assault shuttle starts to hover above the landing platform. The engine glows dark orange as it intensifies. Then the ship leaves the center at an accelerating speed. INT. NU CLASS ASSAULT SHUTTLE - COCKPIT One of the pilots is holding the lightspeed throttle as the other one is still pressing buttons. JAX Alright, everything is in check. Confirming destination coordinates to Nar Shaddaa. Jax stops pressing buttons and looks at the screen. JAX (CONT'D) You'll good Trix. TRIX Ok, commencing jump to lightspeed in 3, 2 ,1. Trix pushes forward the lightspeed throttle. Streaks of white light enter the dark space outside the dash window. The engine starts to get louder as the more streaks into the view. 13. EXT. CORUSCANT - REPUBLIC INTELLIGENCE CENTER - LANDING BAY The shuttle accelerates toward the emptiness of space EXT. CORUSCANT - SPACE The grey shuttle leaves the planet's atmosphere. It passes by many Acclamator class ships. There are hundreds of them, some of them are entering the atmosphere while others are just stationary. Some goes into lightspeed off in the distance. The Nu Class shuttle is like an fly compared to the giant triangle shaped cruisers. The shuttle goes away from the Acclamators. INT. NAR SHADDAA - GHUTRA PRIME DISTRICT - KORDIA LABORATORY Tonjia enters a dark room within the Palo Laboratory center. The hooded figure she talked to days prior was there, sitting on a chair. He turns to look at her. TONJIA We have received intel that the Republic is sending a team to search for the subjects. HOODED FIGURE As expected. We must tighten the security around the perimeter. Spread out troops throughout the district. TONJIA That will be done. Tonjia nods and leaves the room. The Hooded figure walks into a room that was behind him. The room has many bacta tanks with people in them. A kaminoan is looking over them. The kaminoan is GOVA VUU, one of Kamino's leading genetic engineers. He was asked to work for the Orax Syndicate by a mysterious person. HOODED FIGURE how much longer do we have? GOVA VUU The final tests of the drugs are almost done. Distribution among the subjects could be in weeks. 14. HOODED FIGURE We need that in days. The Republic are searching for the clone and Jedi. The hooded figure gets out a space cigar from his pocket and starts smoking it. GOVA VUU I have an idea. We could keep the clone here for further testing while we send the Jedi to another planet. HOODED FIGURE We don't need the Jedi? GOVA VUU I already got enough of his blood samples. We don't need him for now. HOODED FIGURE We should send him to Ebenhan. That would be the last place they would check. The hooded figure walks out of the room, and goes to the prison area in their base. He walks into the room where the Jedi is chained up to a wall. He is imprisoned by a energy shield in front of him. The hooded figure grabs a chair from the corner and sits on it. He looks at the Jedi. HOODED FIGURE (CONT'D) You look as worse as ever, Master Ujuvik. Ujuvik is mumbling under his exhausted breath. He's sweating tremendously. The figure scoots his chair closer to the imprisoned Jedi. UJUVIK I am one with the force... the force is with me... I am one with the force... the force is... with me... Ujuvik keeps repeating the phrase over and over until the hooded figure gets irritated and activates the electric shocker. Bolts of lightning strikes the Jedi, he screams in pain. The figure stops the torture. 15. HOODED FIGURE Stop saying that stupid phrase for Whills sake. Ujuvik stops and silences himself, he is confused by what the figure just said. The figure takes a deep breath and lets it out. HOODED FIGURE (CONT'D) I'm sending you to a facility on Ebenhan, I'm sure you'll be familiar with that planet right? UJUVIK … Ebenhan? How do you know? It's sacred only to the Jedi. The hooded figure was offended by that statement. He showed his disgust. . . HOODED FIGURE Do you even know what Ebenhan is to the force? Ujuvik is silent for awhile to gather his thoughts. UJUVIK Ebenhan is one of the the living force. The has a strong presence force. . . Now how do Nexuses of planet itself with the you know? The hooded figure pauses. HOODED FIGURE I was born on Ebenhan. . . A long time ago. Just like you, I was born with the ability to use the force. The hooded figure stretch out his hand toward a cup lying around on the floor. The cup starts to levitate in the air, rotating between the two. HOODED FIGURE (CONT'D) I am Vanen Vorcius, son of Renigar and Mara Vorcius, and the last survivor of the old purge. Vanen sighs. VANEN VORCIUS When I was a child I was sent to one of the guardian force temples on Ebenhan. (MORE) 16. VANEN VORCIUS (CONT'D) They taught me the ways of the force and how to bind it to my will. A Je-Jedi? UJUVIK VANEN VORCIUS *Hmpf* Not at all. We were neither Jedi nor Sith, light side nor dark side. We were the equilibrium of both sides, a balance you may say. The hooded figure fills the cup with water at a nearby hydro dispenser. The hooded figure shows a visible smile from his shadowed face. VANEN VORCIUS (CONT'D) Ebenhan was a peaceful world. Full of life and prosperity. The planet was very important to the guardians especially to me. It was my entire life, it was the place I made many friends, and got married to a beautiful women and had a famiVanen stops his monologue abruptly. UJUVIK What. . . what happened? Vanen crushes the cup, all the water spills on the metal floor. Tears slide down his cheek. VANEN VORCIUS . . . The Jedi. INT. HYPERSPACE - NU-CLASS ASSAULT SHUTTLE Nail climbs down to transport room with everyone sitting quietly. He stands in front of them. NAIL We will be arriving to Nar Shaddaa in T-minus 10 minutes. Remember we're dropping off in the heart of Ghutra Prime so be careful of what you do there, we don't want to alert anybody that we're there. I think it would make more sense if we assigned everyone into groups so we can cover more space easily. 17. CORVUS T'VUUD That's a great idea, I think Killian and I will be a group. It'll be a good learning experience with him. PRUUG LOGA I'll go with my padawan, same reason as him. NAIL So I guess I'm the only one that has to choose. Well I'll go with T'Vuud and his Padawan. KILLIAN SAREIS What parts of the district are we gonna split up? NAIL If my memory serves right, T'Vuud you already been to Nar Shaddaa? Correct. CORVUS T'VUUD Corvus holds his chin, trying to remember the outline of the district. CORVUS T'VUUD (CONT'D) NAIL Alright, we will meet up exactly 4 hours after we land at a cafe or something then we will discuss where to go from there. Everyone nods.
