Lab VI: Troubleshooting VLAN Configuration
AIM: To troubleshoot the VLAN Configuration.
Pre Requisite: Following are the Pre Requisite for this practical.
 A computer System
 Installed Cisco Packet Tracer v6.0
 A good and stable internet connection
Components: Following components are required to perform this practical.
 PC
 Wire
 2950T-24 Switch
Procedure:
The following steps need to perform to carry out this practical work.
Step 1: First of all we need to arrange the device as shown in the below
screenshots
Step 2: Then I assigned the IP address of all the PCs according to the question.
To do so I clicked on each PC one by one and go to Desktop tab and click on IP
configuration icon.
Step 3: Then I misconfigured the configuration by typing the following command
given in the question in the CLI of Switch 1.

Troubleshooting
Step 6: Then I reconfigured the configuration by typing the following command
given in the question in the CLI of Switch 1 to remove the misconfiguration.

Step 7: Then I reconfigured the configuration by typing the following command
given in the question in the CLI of Switch 2 to remove the misconfiguration.

Step 8: Then I reconfigured the configuration by typing the following command
given in the question in the CLI of Switch 3 to remove the misconfiguration.

The troubleshooting is done on basic VLAN configuration. To verify the
configuration whether VTP configuration is working or not just send simple PDU
from one PC to another PC and the result is given below.
From the above observation it is clear that the troubleshooting is successful.
Lab VII: Basic VTP Configuration
AIM: To design a basic VTP Configuration.
Pre Requisite: Following are the Pre Requisite for this practical.

Procedure:
The following steps need to perform to carry out this practical work.
Step 1: First of all we need to arrange the device as shown in the below

Step 2: Then I assigned the IP address of all the PCs according to the question.

type the following command.

Step 3: Now open the CLI of Switch 2 i.e., VTN client in this configuration and
type the following command.

vtp mode client

switchport access vlan 20
exit
interface FastEthernet0/4
switchport access vlan 30
Step 4: Now open the CLI of Switch 3 i.e., VTN client in this configuration and
type the following command.

vtp domain abc.com
vtp mode client
vtp password 12345
interface FastEthernet0/2
switchport access vlan 10
exit
interface FastEthernet0/3
switchport access vlan 20
exit
interface FastEthernet0/4
switchport access vlan 30
The configuration is done for basic VTP configuration. To verify the configuration
