This assignment is an attempt to repair the trust this class has placed into jeopardy set by your teacher and
expected by a guest teacher. The letter of apology should cover the following topics regardless of whether
you were directly involved or were just a silent bystander who allowed these things to happen:
●Putting Mr. C and your family in the position of embarrassment by disrespecting a guest
teacher.
●Responsibility to know and follow class rules (and to assist guest teachers with these
rules)
●Stealing instructional time that can never be recovered from your classmates and teacher
●Being disrespectful to the guest teacher who came to continue Mr. C’s instructions.
●What you could have done to avoid this situation and the consequences that will follow?
●Describe how this behavior broken rules and the trust that Mr. C has given this class.
Include specifics of which expectations were not met.
●If you were a student that behaved, discuss how could you have aided classmates to
stay focused?
●What can you personally do now to fix this situation?
