Pages 3-4: Ten or more entree's (main course dishes) 2 Fish Entree’s 2 Meat Entree's 2 Vegetarian Entree's 4 or More Additional Items of your Choice Each item must include a 3 sentence or longer description of each item. Include nutritional information such as: Total Fat, Cholesterol, Trans Fat, Calories etc. Include ingredients used, methods of cooking, and why it is healthy or not healthy. Stay away from the pan or deep fried foods. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. Include foods that are LOW IN FAT, NUTRIENT DENSE (more than two nutrients), and HIGH IN FIBER and HEALTHY OILS (OLIVE AND CANOLA). Found in a menu: salads, soups, desserts and beverages (no alcoholic beverages) Other Information You may use a computer (we will go to the computer lab) to generate or create your menu. You may cut and paste from websites pictures and nutritional information. Be creative and colorful with your menu. 1. HAVE A NAME FOR RESTAURANT 2 CATCH PHRASE 3. VISUAL AID FOR RESTAURANT 4. A COPY OR COPIES OF MENU EACH STUDENT WILL PRESENT THEIR MENU AND RESTAURANT IN CLASS. WE WILL VOTE FOR THE BEST OVERALL AND HEALTHY RESTAURANT. You may use a computer to generate your menu or you may design it yourself and use markers or colored pencils. Another option is to cut and paste pictures from magazines. Whatever you do, make it neat and appealing.
