Indication: 19y female, chin deviation to the left with malocclusion intraorally. For orthodontic and
orthognathic treatment.

Findings:
The mandibular body is deviated to the left of the midline.
This results in poor opposition of the right upper and lower teeth (the lower teeth is more intraoral
than the upper teeth).
Both temporomandibular joints are intact.
The right 2nd lower molar and left 3rd lower molar are impacted and their crowns directed anteriorly.
The right upper canine tooth is impacted within the alveolar process of maxillary bone.
Right upper premolar and molar teeth are malpositioned, some with the crowns directed medially
and some laterally.
Left 3rd upper molar is not erupted yet.

Nasal septum is deviated to the right. However, the nasal cavities are patent.
Paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells are clear.
No significant abnormality in the rest of the included bones.

Impression:
Deviated mandibular body to the left with malalignment of the teeth as detailed above.
