Academic Involvement
August 2019, attending 'The Dentist Camp'
held by Rythm Arts organization. On the camp day,
I got to try dental handicrafts and make friends.
The staff who took care of me for the rest of the
camp shared their insight experience of being a
dental student. In the end, there was an activity
about creating a scenario that I had to act as if I
were a dentist who explaining the disease to the
patient.
July 2020, attending the online meeting. The topic was
people's misconception about E-cigarettes. I learned that
E-cigarettes cause more harm than regular ones and are
dangerous.
September 2020, attending a special course
learning human anatomy. This course was amazing
and well-described. I learned in-depth about how
medical students use this course to communicate
with their professors and their classmates.
April 2020, taking a quiz about the basic of
COVID-19 and things you need to know which held by Office
of the Non-Formal and Informal Education. I learned how
to keep myself safe from a serious pandemic.
October 2020, attending
'Get Gown Camp' to find more
about dentists. I learned how to
decorate artificial teeth, the
basic of prosthetic dentistry,
and the correct way to brush
teeth. That made me realize that
being a dentist I have be a
detail-oriented person and at
the same time be an artistic.
International Research
Does Gender Show Differences in
the Ability to Multitask
This is my research I did with friends who had the same interest and
intention to do scientific research. I got the question from my experience that
for decades between males and females there is something people would
compare whether their biological feature or their intelligence. However, when it
comes to the ability to multitask, which means the ability to do more than one
thing at a time, is still be a controversial topic which the answer is various.
So that bought us to find out whether there is a significant difference or
there is no relation at all. In the end, we found out there is no difference
between gender. This research was approved for publication in the IJMSCR
Online journal.
IJMSCR is an international organization archiving and publishing
journals related to medical science. This research was officially publicized in
September 2020 and kept in Archive Issue Volume 3: Issue 5. The order of this
research was 34. My responsibility for this project was writing the
introduction, finding relevant research papers, and running the Independent
t-test via SPSS software. It wasn't an easy task because when it comes to
the meeting my friends couldn't make their time right and at the beginning, it
was tough to find the topic research that we wanted to do. The obstacles I had
experienced sharpen me to be a better communicator, listener, and leader.
Social Service
In 2017, I volunteered at Anuban
Saladang School where the students
between age of 7-12 go to this school.
My job was teaching English to
second-grade students. The students
were very friendly and they were
eager to learn. From this activity,
I had gained not only patience but
also friendship, teamwork with my
friends
August 2018 – volunteering at
Dunbar garden. I helped local
people planting vegetables and
cleaning some areas in order to
prepare for the next cropping.
It was a great activity. I got a
chance to improve my English skill
and I gained a lot of patience at
the same time.
April 2019 – volunteering in READ for
Blind (RFB) Campaign. RFB is known as
the application that encourages
everyone to create an audiobook for
the blind. Their goal is 'Give them Light
by your Voices'. The book I read was
'How to excel in English.' From this
experience, I felt blessed to do
something good for other people
because I could use my English skill to
enhance their knowledge.
Social Service
May 2019 – volunteering in
conducting online social media
content to support and encourage
Thai people through the COVID-19
outbreak.
From this involvement, I had
improved my creative skill to make
infographic and my thoughtfulness to
consider the source I use for making
this content.
