Concept​ ​note
This year we were assigned to make a film for our project based on FilmIt. initially we had two ideas
which we eventually broke down and finalized to one. The first one had to be about wrestling in an old
arena. A good instructor will teach some students who want to follow their passion about wrestling. This
idea was not possible due to some reasons. Then we choose the second idea and started working on it.
This was based on unique profession as well as unique low cost invention. A maker from Maharashtra
sat on the streets and made slippers known as “Kolhapuri Chappal”. We will document his work and give
a​ ​small​ ​message​ ​of​ ​how​ ​happy​ ​he​ ​is​ ​making​ ​the​ ​slippers,​ ​despite​ ​being​ ​a​ ​small​ ​man.
​ ​Day​ ​1​ ​ ​we​ ​thought​ ​wat​ ​to​ ​flim​ ​on​ ​and​ ​we​ ​choose​ ​wrestling​ ​as​ ​our​ ​topic.
Day​ ​2​ ​ ​we​ ​started​ ​making​ ​our​ ​ ​permission​ ​letter.
Day​ ​3​ ​ ​we​ ​weet​ ​to​ ​see​ ​the​ ​place​ ​where​ ​the​ ​wrestler​ ​teaches​ ​wrestling.
Day​ ​4​ ​we​ ​started​ ​thinking​ ​how​ ​to​ ​make​ ​the​ ​script.
Day​ ​5​ ​we​ ​saw​ ​some​ ​dangal​ ​scenes
Day​ ​6​ ​we​ ​continued​ ​our​ ​script
Day​ ​7​ ​we​ ​finished​ ​our​ ​script
Day​ ​8​ ​we​ ​went​ ​for​ ​a​ ​shooting​ ​but​ ​the​ ​wrestler​ ​was​ ​not​ ​there
Day​ ​9​ ​we​ ​did​ ​a​ ​format
Day 10 then we again went for a shooting and did little bit of shooting but the wrestler was not there
and​ ​we​ ​weren’t​ ​able​ ​to​ ​shoot​ ​him.
Day 11 as the wrestler was out of town we had to choose a new topic so we choose Kolapuri Chapals as
our​ ​new​ ​topic.
Day​ ​12​ ​we​ ​went​ ​for​ ​a​ ​shooting​ ​for​ ​the​ ​kolapuri​ ​chapals
Day​ ​13​ ​ ​we​ ​completed​ ​our​ ​shooting
