To lose one pound of fat you would have to run 35 miles! Sounds like a lot but that’s why there are other activities and forms of energy expenditure to lose fat. Jumping jacks, pull ups, stair walks and hikes are all activities that will help you lose fat. On the flip side, to gain mass/muscle, you would need to have a meal plan; healthy food, right amount of protein, and most of all it is important to balance the energy derived from food with that expended in physical activity, energy weight must exceed expenditure.
