The message signal is amplitude modulated by a carrier signal of amplitude 5 V and frequency bcd Hz. Perform the following tasks in MATLAB Simulink: (i) Design a suitable block level system to generate the AM signal. (ii) Design a suitable block level system to reconstruct the message signal by demodulating the AM signal. Attach the screen shots of the block diagrams and waveforms of the message signal, AM signal and reconstructed message signal in the answer script. ** Where a, b, c, d and e will be obtained from your student ID number as follows: Student ID format: xx- abcde -x For example, if your student ID is 16-12345-2, then a = 1, b = 2, c = 3, d = 4, and e = 5 **Instructions for Upload: Fill up your name and ID in the title page. Title page with question must be included in the submitted file. Upload a zip file including PDF of answer script and Simulink file in VUES. Solution Generating the AM signal Figure 1: Generating the Amplitude modulation signal Figure 2: Time scope of AM signal According to the block diagram, first one is the message signal. Second one is the carrier signal. Last one is the Amplitude modulation signal Figure 1: Amplitude modulation ans demodulation Figure 2: Time Scope of Amplitude modulation ans demodulation Accourding to the block diagram, first one is the real message signal. Secound one is the carrier signal. Third one is the Amplitude modulation signal. And last one is the reconstruct the message signal by demodulating the AM signal.
