Pneumatic power tools shall be be secured to the air hose
by whip arrestor. Ensure insulation for Electrical tools
Damaged tools or equipment must be quarantined Before

blades, grinding wheels etc., ensure unplug the tool first.
Electrical cords shall not be exposed to damage from
vehicles driving over them Portable electric tools shall not
be lifted or lowered by means of the power cord. Ropes
shall be used. Ensure no makeshift arrangements for tools
Slip/trip/Fall Pinch points, strains and
sprains
Think about body position, avoid over reaching, hyper
extending, location/position of extremities.
