Eden Armstrong How trauma can affect me later Washington State Community College Drew Antill I believe that a lot of childhood trauma can affect you horribly in the long run. It can affect your way of viewing relationships and viewing the world. With the research that I have conducted so far, I have found that people who have experienced childhood trauma are more prone to adulthood abuse and an unhealthy relationship. They are also way more prone to having mental illnesses and having a hard time keeping a healthy relationship. They will often find themselves wondering why a healthy relationship feels so weird to them. They are also more prone to having multiple different health issues such as heart attack, stroke, obesity, diabetes, and cancer. Some of the major topics that I am going to discuss in this essay include but are not limited to how abuse mentally physically changes a person. How abuse can affect relationships with future romantic partners and friends. The purpose of this research project is for my composition II teacher. I chose this topic because I was once completely uneducated about how bad abuse can affect someone. I plan to use these two sights for a lot of my information. Publishing, H. (2019, February 19). I am using this article from Harvard medical because it is new and recent information. It was published in 2019 and it was edited in February of 2021 so all of the information is new and accurate. I also chose this website because they have a lot of reputable articles. I really like the information that this source has. It will help me continue my research on the topic. Here is just a small chunk out of the whole article. I am using the Cleveland clinic site for the same reasons as the Harvard medical source.
