Which key assertions the company has implemented to scale and how:
Delhivery has incorporated key scale assertion 68 (invest in company cybersecurity that
improves cybersecurity of all members of the company value chain) into their value propositions
by incorporating a number of cybersecurity measures in its business model to ensure the data of
their customers remains safe. The company collects as little personal information about
customers as possible (a strategy used by many large corporations to decrease of potential
breaches would have) including their phone number and address. This information is used to
conduct data analysis, including trend analysis, consumer search and analytics, and anonymize
personal information; it is also used to prevent fraud and other liabilities (Delhivery, n.d.).
Delhivery maintains strict technical measures, especially with regards to infrastructure, data, and
network security to protect customer information from loss (Delhivery, n.d.).
Delhivery has also incorporated key scale assertion 56 (enter a new market by partnering with or
purchasing local companies) into their value propositions by taking over Aramex India’s local
operations (Pradhan, 2019). The Saudi logistics company provides logistics for large ecommerce companies like Amazon. The company overtook Aramex India’s delivery and pick-up
shipment processes in 2019 for an undisclosed amount (Pradhan, 2019).
